“১৯৭১ সালে যে সকল মহান যুবকগণ এই দেশের সেবার লক্ষ্যে এগিয়ে এসেছিলো, তাদের সেবার লক্ষ্যে শুরু করা হলো ৭১ কেয়ার”
আজ ১৬ ডিসেম্বর অর্থাৎ মহান বিজয় দিবস, ১৯৭১ সালে এই দিনে লক্ষ লক্ষ শহীদ এবং গাজীর আত্মত্যাগের বিনিময়ে পেয়েছিলাম স্বাধীনতা ।
আজকের এই দিনে স্বরণ করছি মহান শহীদদের। এবং শ্রদ্ধা গ্যাপন করছি সম্ভ্রম হারানো নারীদের প্রতি।
“একাত্তর সালে যারা এই দেশের খেদমত বা সেবার লক্ষ্যে এগিয়ে এসেছিলো, আজকে সময় এসেছে তাদের সেবা করার”
তখন তারা যুবক ছিলো আজকে তারা বৃদ্ধ। যুবক সময়ে তারা নিজের জীবনকে বাজি রেখে এ দেশের সেবা করেছে। তাই আমরা যারা এখন যুবক রয়েছি আমাদের উচিৎ তাদের সেবা করা, যত্ন করা।
তাদের যত্নের লক্ষ্যে, তাদের সেবার লক্ষ্যে উদ্ভাবিত হলো “৭১ কেয়ার”
৭১ কেয়ার | 71 Care আসলে কি?
৭১ কেয়ার বা 71 Care হলো এমন একটি প্রতিষ্ঠান, যার লক্ষ্য এবং উদ্দেশ্য হলো মহান গাজী/মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের সেবা দান করা।
এরই পাশাপাশি যারা বর্তমানে অসুস্থ ও বৃদ্ধ রয়েছে তাদেরও এখন সেবা শুশ্রূষা করার সময়। কেননা আজকে আমরা যুবক রয়েছি, একটা সময় আমরাও বৃদ্ধ ও অসুস্থদের কাতারে পৌছব। আজ যদি বৃদ্ধদের সেবায় আমরা যুবকেরা এগিয়ে না আশি, কাল আমাদের সেবার জন্য কারা কারা এগিয়ে আসবে?
ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্ম আমাদের কাছ থেকে কি শিক্ষা নিবে?
তাই মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের পাশাপাশি যারা অসুস্থ ও বৃদ্ধ যারা রয়েছে তাদের সেবার লক্ষ্যে সৃষ্টি হলো “৭১ কেয়ার”
আমরা চাই এই সেবার মধ্য দিয়ে “71 Care” নামের ফুলের সৌরভ ছরিয়ে পরুক বাংলাদেশ সহ পৃথিবীর আনাচে কানাচে।
